How to Conduct the Deli Paper Test
- Open the oven door
- Place a sheet of folded deli paper between the door and the oven
- Close the door on the deli paper
- Pull on the deli paper
The paper should be difficult to pull; it may even tear. If the paper comes out with little or no resistance, then the gasket is loose, and you must adjust the door seal. If the door gasket is damaged or permanently compressed, replace it before making adjustments.
