Please do not just switch the Till off by pressing the power button,
if the machine is shutdown from the power button instead of being shut down in windows the hard drives go into a raid recovery mode.
This process takes a few hours and grinds the system to a halt.
if you experience an issue on the till in regards to freezing or programs not responding you should -
press CNTRL+SHIFT+ESC to go the task manager. From the task manager you can end task on the program that is not responding, In most cases it is down to the progress application (subshop) not responding.
Never turn the system off from the power button; if any system issues arise please contact us immediately so we can get it resolved.
